The Anniversary Shocker

Cricket to match-fixing is what Bollywood to terror-engineering. The nexus is here to stay. And David Coleman Headley (DCH) is probably the latest icon of this Bolly-terror intercourse. (Alas, the only David I knew so far was the Aussie keeper David Boon of my school days!!)

The appearance of DCH post an FBI teaser is the First Anniversary Shocker of Mumbai's 26/11. After an year of the tragedy, we are as vulnerable as we were; our system_ a la NIA_ is as jawless as it was; we are sending dossier after dossier to Pakistan; Kavita Karkare has come out public over the mssing jacket; the families of the very first victims of Kubera, i.e. the fishermen, have been left out for not adding to any interesting story; the small-incident-in-big-city controversy fame RR Patil is back to the reins of the state; Kasav is still changing statements; Marathi Manush & co are the same impatient lot to drag the Greatest Marathi Manush into the their cup of filthy politics!!

It's an unending drama. If (at all) more skeletons set to tumble out of the closet, we would witness a real-life Jannat in the life of Emran Hashmi, all credit should then go to uncle producer and India's all-time big mouth, Mahesh Bhatt.

Tail Piece : Ahead of 1st Test against SriLanka at Ahmedabad, the police had an hawk's eye on motor bikes. Thanks to their inspiration from the Lahore-istyle attack!! Like it is said, difficult situations demand innovative solutions. Our security apparatus have probably learned it the best possible way.
